U Shape Us
A Canberra-based social enterprise on a mission to increase children and young people's sense of belonging. Founded by Canberra mum and daughter, Fiona and Molly McIntosh. |
At the heart of our enterprise is a card imagination game, designed with children in mind but enjoyable for all ages. This game encourages players to invent and create connection ideas, fostering a sense of community and belonging. More than just a fun activity, it combines learning with community empowerment.
We collaborate with community organisations and schools to empower children and young people to bring their imaginative connection ideas to life. U Shape Us nurtures creativity, relational skills, and active participation among children and young people. By fostering these qualities, we aim to empower youth with the self-belief that they can truly shape "us" into a more connected, empathetic, and inclusive version of our community, both now and for future generations. |
